4.3 To Widen Student’s Knowledge to Gain an Insightful Understanding to Western Culture: Multimedia courseware can offer students a lot of textbooks and help them to get of displays vivid culture background. Students can use them to share information to their friends.

4.4 To Improve Teaching Effect: Multimedia teachings enrich teaching content and make the best of class time and break the “teacher-centered” teaching pattern and fundamentally improve class efficiency.

4.5 To Improve Interaction between Teacher and Student: Teacher can use multimedia in context creation creates a good platform for the between teacher and students.

4.6 Creates a Context for Language Teaching: Using multimedia technology can make the class livelier and really convenient. It can also create contexts that can make student have more interesting in English language.

💥5. Analysis on Problems Arising from Application for Multimedia Technology to English Teaching:

5.1 Major Means Replaced by the Assisting One: If teacher uses too much technology, she/he will became slave to it.

            5.2 Loss of Speaking Communication: there is lack of communication between teacher and students. Technology replaces teachers’ voice by computer sound, and teachers’ analysis by visual image and students have’ few chances for speaking communication.

                5.3 The Restriction of Students’ Thinking Potential: Technology lacks real – time effect and cannot give feedback to students likes teacher can do. 

                5.4 Abstract Thinking Replaced by Imaginable Thinking: If the image and imagination in students' mind were merely showed on the screen, their abstract thinking would be restricted and logical thinking would waste away.

💥6. Suggestions and Strategies to the Existing Problems: 

           6.1 The Beauty of Courseware is not the Sole Pursuit: English should be used very often in class to motivate the students' communicative competence. Multimedia is just an instrument for assisting teaching. The teacher’s role could not be replaced by it. 

              6.2 The Computer Screen can’t Substitute the Blackboard: Teachers are supposed to simulate situations based on teaching and guide the students to communicate in English. Traditional writing on blackboard is concise and teachers can make adjustment and amendment to it if necessary.

             6.3 Power Point cannot take the Place of Student’s Thinking and Practices: PPT cannot replace students’ thinking or English communication in simulated circumstances, so teachers need to encourage the students to use their own minds and speak more.

        6.4 Traditional Teaching Instruments and Devices should not be Overlooked: Multimedia has unique advantages, so teachers should choose media and instrument that suitable for teaching and integrate multimedia instrument with traditional one.

        6.5 Multimedia Technology should not be overused: Teacher should use less technology and teach students more.
